Please read through our FAQ’s and Policies before you purchase an item.

Shipping

Our shipping time-frame is within 2-7 days. Ounce an order has been placed we package, sign, seal and deliver it to our trusty couriers who then takes a road trip to get to you. Constant communication from the time of purchase to the handing over of the parcel is a garente. It's a small operation so we might not be too fast with sending the said emails. Pop us a message if you're unsure of anything on out email or on Instagram. We'll get back to asap!

Courier options & details

We only use Aramex for our shipping needs. They offer R100 overnight shipping that goes right to your door. They have been very reliable and the tracking feature is very effective. You can track your parcel on their site or via their app. We unfortunately have no control over the item ounce it is in their hands. Please contact them with any questions about your parcels current position.

Returns & refunds - Secondhand items

All our secondhand clothing items are not refundable. PLEASE note that we will not make a refund on those items. We document the condition of the items in the product description and have the required photos of any damage or imperfections.

Returns & refunds - Handmade items

Not too happy with your item? Too small or doesn't fit right? We offer a refund and return on handmade items (not the revamped secondhand itmes). There is a 5 working day period to decide after purchase. After the 5 days, no refund will be issued.
The cost of shipping the item back is not ours but the customer's. If an item has signs of wear or any damage from use in the 5 days, we will not issue a full refund. We do not give a refund or do returns on items that were damaged during transport. That falls on the courier service and not Founded.

Damage ,theft & lost item during transport

We do not have insurance on items during transport. If an item gets damaged,stolen or lost on the way, it is a matter between the courier service and not with Founded. We can not make out a refund for this matter.

Item's condition

We wash all our thrifted items to ensure good hygiene. If there any permanent stains, we will document it with photos and descriptions on each item.
We might have missed slight damages or stains, but cannot refund these items unless they are really horrendous. In that case, send us a photo and your query to our email and we will take it from there.

Handmade items & our impact

Our handmade bags, hats and more are made from either reclaimed materials like pants, curtains, tablecloths and anything else we find. These items were sourced from secondhand shops, markets and bought from individuals. We check where there are stains or holes and if it is in a condition to be donated rather then reused for our sewing purposes. New fabrics are also used, but we try and source only natural fibers or dead-stock. Cause plastic aint fantastic even in pink polyester form. We try and use every ince of the material to create a full sustainable cycle within our production. Mindful of the overall influence and effect our waste might have.
