Our shipping time-frame is within 2-7 days. Once an order has been placed we package, sign, seal and deliver it to our trusty couriers who then take it from there.  We do not ship items on weekends or holidays. Any order made on a Friday will only be processed the following week. Send us a message if you’re unsure of anything on our email or on Instagram. We’ll contact you if there’s going to be a delay with your order due to any reason that requires additional time.

We only use Aramex for our shipping needs. They offer R100 overnight shipping that goes right to your door. They have been very reliable and the tracking feature is very effective. You can track your parcel on their site or via their app. We unfortunately have no control over the item once it is in their hands. Please contact them with any questions about your parcels current position and we’ll try and sort it out.

If an order is too large to fit within a bag, we will have to use a different courier company. This might be an additional cost to the R100.

If an order exceeds the amount that will fit within an Aramex bag, an additional cost will be added for a different courier company. the cost is subject to change in the event that your order needs an alternative courier service to Aramex.

International shipping is at an additional cost due to Taxes and the price for shipping. There are certain countries we cannot ship to. Please be in contact before placing your order if you are purchasing from a different country.

All our secondhand clothing items are not refundable. PLEASE note that we will not make a refund on those items. We document the condition of the items in the product description and have the required photos of any damage or imperfections.

As of 30 May 2022: If you’d like to cancel an order before it is shipped to you, please note that 10% from your overall refund(shipping included) will be deducted as a cancellation fee. In certain situations swapping of items are accepted. Get in contact and we’ll sort it out! 🙂

There is a 7 day return timeframe for you to request a return and refund. After that timeframe we no longer accept any item. The item must be in the same condition as when it was sent. NO signs of wear will be allowed. The shipping cost will also have to be covered by the client. Only when the item is received and checked for signs of wear will the refund be issued.

Handmade items on sale will not be refunded.
The cost of shipping the item back is not ours but the customer’s. If an item has signs of wear or any damage from use in the  days, we will not issue a full refund. We do not give a refund or do returns on items that were damaged during transport. That falls on the courier service and not Founded.

We do not have insurance on items during transport. If an item gets damaged, stolen or lost on the way, it is a matter between the courier service and not with Founded. We can not make out a refund for this matter.

We wash all our thrifted items to ensure good hygiene. If there’s any permanent stains, we will document it with photos and descriptions on each item.
We might have missed slight damages or stains, but cannot refund these items unless they are really horrendous. In that case, send us a photo and your query to our email and we will take it from there.

Our handmade bags, hats and more are made from either reclaimed materials like pants, curtains, tablecloths and anything else we find. These items were sourced from secondhand shops, markets and bought from individuals. We check where there are stains or holes and if it is in a condition to be donated rather then reused for our sewing purposes. New fabrics are also used, but we try and source only natural fibers or dead-stock. Cause plastic isn’t fantastic even in pink polyester form. We try and use every part of the material to create a full sustainable cycle within our production. Mindful of the overall influence and effect our waste might have.
